About Eric Johnson
My e-commerce journey began in 2017 with a clothing brand myself, my cousin and a close friend created called The Golden Era. Although this business wasn’t a financial success by any means, I learned the fundamentals of Shopify, and how to build and manage a business. This experience would later set me up for success in e-commerce.
After graduating college in the summer of 2018, I was hired by my brother to run his online business full-time (Seventeenth Watches). Since the last 4 years I’ve taken over, we are closing in on $1,000,000 in revenue
My journey first started out me being one-man army that had to wear many hats to in order to operate the business. I was responsible for customer service, order fulfillment, marketing, advertising, copywriting, inventory management.
After a few months of doing this, I realized that this was not an efficient way for me to spend my time if we wanted to scale the business to another level, so I looked for different ways to outsource what I wasn’t great at, so I could focus on the most import role I had in operating the business.
I also went on to start another physical product (Nomadic Traveler) brand & help others on their e-commerce journey (Line Out Watches, We The Hype Gamers).
My goal is cut down the learning curve that comes with e-commerce by saving you time & money. Starting & running a business is not an easy feat by any means, but there are ways to simplify and alleviate the stress that comes with it.
I also want show you some effective ways of operating the less glamorous and visible side of business: Customer Service & Order Fulfillment.
